All right, let me repost some information for all those joining us. Your avatar is determined by your userid divided by 40, then the remainder +1 is the avatar # (because of course we had to use modulus math to confirm geekness).

Your avatar is still there FYI, if you go into your user profile. We just suppressed them until April 2nd, for anyone worried that it disappeared.

These avatars are by a great artist by the name of Scott Johnson who made a poster identifying 56 different types of geeks. You can see his store here:

Very amusing, and nice art work. My only concern is that the artist authorized the use or was reimbursed for it in some way. I figure the Guru staff is smart enough not to break copyright laws, but I haven't seen anything about it yet, and hope the artist is aware already.
